Same-Day Emergency Dental Clinic and Dental Care
Are you looking for an emergency dentist near you? Dental emergencies are rarely convenient. Our office in Hillsboro strives to provide same-day dental emergency appointments for both new and existing patients so you can start the healing process as soon as possible. Even if you have no dental or medical insurance, our emergency dental clinic is happy to help you!
If you have a dental emergency on a Saturday or Sunday, we are eager to help since our emergency dental clinic is open over many weekends and evenings—so don’t wait to call our dental office! We have a doctor on call that can assess your emergency and how quickly you will need care.
When a patient needs immediate assistance, our dentist can schedule you for a same-day appointment if necessary or a next morning appointment. We are also a walk-in dentist office for emergency dental patients when you need to be seen quickly.
If you have a dental emergency after hours or have a problem that cannot wait until the next business day, call our dentist office at 503-648-6671; when you hear the after hours message, press #2 for the on-call doctor, and this will ring the on-call doctor’s personal cell phone. If he does not answer, leave a message, he will call you back shortly! Typically, the doctor will assess your emergency and probably schedule you for first thing the next morning. If you are in a dire situation, we can offer 24-hour emergency service.
Unfortunately, we are unable to bill Medicaid or OHP at this time.

What Should I Do If. . .
A tooth has been knocked out: If a permanent tooth has come out, place the tooth in saline solution, saliva, or milk. Call us immediately. In some circumstances, our dentist can actually put the tooth back into your mouth or place a dental implant the same day, so you only have to heal once.
I have a severe toothache: Call us right away, and we’ll get an appointment scheduled. In the meantime, we suggest Ibuprofen if you can handle it; if that isn’t enough to stop your pain, you can take Tylenol at the same time for maximum pain relief. Be sure to follow your primary care doctor’s advice or the labeled dosages.
Your jaw is severely injured or broken: Go to the emergency room right away! A jaw or facial bone injury should be seen immediately in an emergency room. We can worry about your teeth after your bones, and other injuries are taken care of. Don’t worry; we can always fix your teeth and give you a great smile after your injuries have healed.
