You might be wondering why a dentist would have a section on his website about Aging, Nutrition, Weight Loss, and Health?

When I wrote the six top-selling and top-rated dental apps in the world, I was providing scientific facts and medical education apps for other doctors and dentists. When making content to teach other doctors, you must get your facts 100% correct.

So, I learned how to do vast amounts of scientific research and condense it down accurately and correctly for others to understand. If I made even one mistake on the facts I was presenting and teaching other doctors or dentists; they would absolutely hold me accountable. So not only did I learn how to search the scientific literature, I learned how to cross-check thousands of facts to make sure everything I was presenting was 100% scientifically accurate based on the best available Science and evidence.

I speak and lecture at dental conferences and symposiums all over the world, teaching other dentists and doctors the latest procedures and techniques in dentistry. To prepare for those conferences and lectures, I must do an intense amount of medical and scientific research, again reinforcing my abilities and know-how to do thorough scientific research on any subject

About ten years ago, I decided for my own personal reasons to research Aging, Nutrition, Weight Loss, and Health, and I studied this subject unendingly. I was surprised to find out that Science has had a clear answer for human nutrition for over 30 years.

The Scientific answer is the Whole Food Plant-Based Diet

The scientific literature is solid on what it knows about human nutrition. I was also surprised when I was being trained that most medical doctors have only one hour of nutritional training in their coursework. I still find this fact genuinely astounding and hard to believe.

What I am going to share with you here is my research into the Science of human nutrition. You do not have to agree with me; in fact, it is totally OK if you do not. If you have read this far, all I ask you to do is think like Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee said review all the evidence, accept what is useful, and reject what is not. In other words, please keep an open mind; that is all I am asking you to do.

I have assembled here a lot of evidence that I find compelling. For the first 25 years of my life, I, probably like you, ate the standard American diet (SAD). Most Americans who eat the standard American diet are mostly worried about losing weight, but they’re not always as concerned about their health or lifespan.

Many Americans seem to spend all their health trying to get wealth, and then they spend all their wealth trying to get healthy.”

It turns out that all these things are related and that there is a simple solution based on factual evidence to these problems: The Whole Food Plant-Based Diet. Science has determined that the Plant-Based Diet is the best diet known to Science. I’m sure that there will be some people who disagree with this, but I’m telling you what the consensus of peer-reviewed scientific literature says is a fact. I am providing videos here for you to educate yourself and those you love to change your life for the better with the things I have learned.

Many people take what they choose to eat very seriously. If that is you, I do not want to be your adversary. I am trying to be your friend and to be helpful, so review the evidence and accept what is useful and reject what is not.

Suppose you want to continue to eat what you have been eating all your life. That is totally cool with me; we can still be friends!

Why you should probably drink tea daily.

Here is a short video on why most of us should probably drink green tea every day. I don’t know about you, but I’m not too fond of the taste of green tea. So, what I do is I get a 1-gallon pitcher, and each night I put in three green tea bags, and then I put in three herbal tea bags of any flavor I like.

I happen to like the taste of Black Cherry. Maybe you like the taste of Peach the best. Just take three flavored herbal hibiscus teas bags and throw them in the one-gallon pitcher along with three green tea bags and put them in the fridge overnight, and in the morning, you have a gallon of tea that tastes great with no sugar that you can drink all-day.

Make sure to get your green tea from Japan; evidence suggests tea from other countries is high in lead content.


How to Slow Aging (and even reverse it)

Here is a short video introduction to Doctor David Sinclair, the foremost researcher on longevity and life extension from Harvard University. This video is a brief introduction to what he has learned after decades of research into life extension. If you’re interested in a living longer, healthier life, I recommend you read or listen to his book Lifespan by Doctor David Sinclair. One of the most fundamental and surprising things they found there is a direct correlation between the amount of protein we eat and our lifespan.

Pretty much the less protein we eat, the longer we live, which may explain some of the problems with the standard American diet.

Here is a documentary called The Game Changers, produced by Arnold Schwarzenegger, James Cameron, and Jackie Chan. They wanted everyone to know the scientific evidence for sports nutrition and what sports nutritional scientists have discovered. Evidence from all over the world clearly demonstrates that most, if not all, athletes perform better on a plant-based diet than on any other diet, especially the standard American diet.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and hundreds of other athletes, including Mike Tyson have converted to a Plant-Based Diet. Its because there is real scientific and superior athletic performance evidence that it provides outstanding athletic performance.

The most extensive scientific study of human nutrition ever done was called the China study. Doctor Colin Campbell and Doctor Caldwell Esselstyn reviewed the results of that study and produced the documentary “Forks Over Knives.” You might have to rent it on Amazon, but it is definitely worth a watch. At the time of this writing, it was $2.99 to rent and $4.99 to buy on Amazon.

It condenses all the knowledge learned from the most extensive study on human nutrition ever done into a documentary that explains a lot of things that we all need to know about food. For instance, did you know that their experiments prove they could turn on and off cancer like a light switch by adding more or less dairy to the diet?

This could help explain the high cancer rates in America.

There are many weight-loss diets with more coming out literally every week. Some of the most popular right now are the low carb diet and its modern variation, the Keto diet. While these diets are quite successful for losing weight by putting your body into a state of semi-permanent Ketosis, they do not do anything at all for health or longevity. Therefore, Science cannot recommend these diets for anyone. For instance, the creator of the first low carb diet, Doctor Atkins, died of a heart attack and had a lifelong struggle with congestive heart failure and high blood pressure. Adele weight loss. Today many people want to know about Adele’s weight loss, how did she do it? Adele used a diet called the Sirtdiet. Adele’s Sirtdiet is nothing but a 100% whole food plant-based diet that emphasizes no processed foods and eating natural whole plant foods that may activate your Sirtuin genes. Sirtuin genes are genes in humans that may extend lifespan. This is a documentary on Netflix called What the Health. This is not a nutritional documentary, but it’s more of a documentary about how the powerful economic forces of the American standard American diet work to compel people to have the wrong information about nutrition.

Vitamins and Supplements

If you watch television or browse the Internet, there is a new vitamin or super supplement pitched to you every day. For the most part, these are totally unnecessary and a complete total waste of your money. If you are eating a whole food plant-based diet, you do not need any supplements.

Science does not recommend that you take a multivitamin; as a matter of fact, evidence shows that taking a multivitamin every day will shorten your lifespan by about three healthy months. So, by taking a multivitamin, you are literally paying someone to live a shorter life. Science does not recommend anyone taking a daily multivitamin, unless you have nutritional absorption issues.

There are, however, two essential vitamins that Science shows that you should definitely take. Vitamin D and Vitamin B12.

Vitamin D is an essential nutrient that your body typically makes by being in the sun; in fact, it is called the sunshine vitamin. It is important to know that vitamin D is not a vitamin at all; that is a complete misnomer. Vitamin D is a hormone that is produced when our skin reacts to sunlight. It turns out vitamin D is hugely important for many functions in the body, including our immune system. Because most of us work indoors or even when we’re outdoors, we’re usually covered in clothing, most of us in North America are deficient in vitamin D.

Vitamin D is needed for thousands of functions in your body. Studies across America demonstrate that between 35%-80% of Americans are deficient in vitamin D. It’s a low cost, easily obtained vitamin. Hence, it makes sense to take it. Science suggests that taking a vitamin D supplement somewhere between 2000-4000 IU daily is essential.

Vitamin B12 is a micronutrient that we used to get from bacteria when we drank water from streams. However, today it seems that most people are deficient in B12, especially people that are on a plant-based diet. Some studies suggest that even 50% of people that eat the standard American diet are deficient in vitamin B12, and it is imperative for thousands of functions in the body, so it makes sense to take vitamin B12 weekly. Or if you have a hard time remembering to take something weekly, you could take it in the form of a Vitamin B complex daily. A Vitamin B complex is just a pill that has all the B vitamins in it. If you are going to take Vitamin B complex, make sure the label says it contains Vitamin B12.


The Optional Vitamin – Vitamin C

If you are eating a whole food plant-based diet, you will not be deficient in Vitamin C. However, if you’re incredibly interested in health and you want to do everything you can for your longevity and health, taking one to four grams of vitamin C throughout the day can’t do you any harm, as Vitamin C is water-soluble. This means that if you take more than your body needs, it just leaves your body naturally.
